The United Kingdom will provide heated tents and supplies to Ukrainian military

The United Kingdom continues to provide systematic assistance to Ukraine.

Ukraine will get 12,000 sleeping bags and 150 heated tents from the United Kingdom.

This is mentioned on the Government of the United Kingdom’s website.

By mid-December, the UK is expected to provide more than 25,000 sets of severe cold weather apparel to the Ukrainian military. The cold weather kits are in addition to the over 7,000 sets supplied to recruits as part of Operation Interflex.

“With winter quickly approaching, this equipment will ensure that Ukraine’s Armed Forces can function successfully over the next few months.” Along with our training program and the supply of lethal aid, it illustrates our commitment to ensuring that the basic Ukrainian soldier is properly trained, well equipped, and given the greatest possible fighting opportunity,” said British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace.

Prior to his meeting with General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday, November 9, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak acknowledged this tranche of help to Ukraine.

It is emphasized that the British Prime Minister and NATO Secretary General will meet to discuss support for Ukraine.

Jens Stoltenberg will also tour military facilities where Ukrainian troops are being trained as part of Operation Interflex.

“NATO is the bedrock of our security and that of our partners. “As the battle in Ukraine rages on, we must not take domestic tranquility for granted,” Rishi Sunak remarked.

As previously reported, at the end of October, Defense Minister Ben Wallace announced that Great Britain was preparing air defense systems to help Ukraine.

Multinational Operation Interflex is also ongoing in Great Britain, in which instructors from Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Ukraine, and, in fact, the United Kingdom participate.
