Zelensky holds a meeting of Staff, discusses ammo supply and Air Force development

Another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief was presided over by President Volodymyr Zelensky, which focused on operational developments on the battlefield, ammunition supply, and work on the concept of Air Force development.

The head of state made this announcement via Telegram.

“Another Supreme CinC Staff meeting. The operational situation was reported by the Chief of Staff, defense intelligence, and commanders of the Khortytsia and Tavria groups of forces. The Ministry of Defense reported the situation of ammunition supplies to advanced units and reserves. We analyzed the existing and potential supply contracts and the dynamics of boosting our own production.”

The President further stated that work had begun on a comprehensive plan for the development of the Ukrainian Air Force, which would take into consideration the switch to new aircraft types. Zelensky claims that it involves a new organizational structure, pilot and ground maintenance staff training, necessary infrastructure, and material and technical support, among other things.
