Ukrainian border guards have received six mobile medical complexes from the Netherlands, which allow them to build a system of medical evacuation support in line with NATO standards.
The border guards received two Role 2 modules and four Role 1 modules. Representatives of the Netherlands also trained the staff of Ukraine’s Border Guard Service’s medical units on deploying and using these mobile complexes.
The border guards stressed that the mobile complexes provided by the Netherlands allow for faster medical care for the wounded, faster stabilisation and, accordingly, shorter treatment times and speedy recovery of servicemen.
The medics will be able to set up a full-fledged hospital in the field with its operating theatre, pre-operative room, intensive care unit, laboratory and sterilisation room.
Using such complexes allows us to build a system of medical and evacuation support for Ukraine’s Border Guard Service per NATO standards.
