Three more Russian media websites have been blocked in Moldova, NewsMaker reports.
The decision to block the websites politnavigator.net, politnavigator.news, and news-front.info was made by the country’s Information and Security Service because of the publication of false information that threatens national security in a state of emergency.
The Service also reported that it had already contacted the providers of network and/or electronic communication services. They should immediately block access to these sites for Moldovan users.
According to the order of the Emergency Situations Commission of March 23, Internet providers and mobile operators are obliged to immediately block online resources that spread fake information.
Earlier it was reported that in March, five websites of the Russian propaganda media Sputnik were blocked in Moldova.
