Russia continues rocket terror of civilian population of Ukraine

The first strike of this kind in three weeks was launched by Russia early on Thursday morning, March 9, targeting energy infrastructure sites in cities throughout Ukraine.

Officials from Ukraine reported damage to residential buildings but did not immediately report any injuries. According to the city’s mayor, an explosion injured at least two persons.

The largest nuclear power station in Europe, Zaporizhzhia, is purported “without energy” due to a Russian strike.

In total, “81 missiles of various sorts” were said to have been used in the strike, and they were launched from “ten Tu-95 strategic aircraft, seven Tu-22M3 long-range aircraft, eight Su-35 fighter aircraft, six MiG-31K aircraft, and three Kalibr KR carriers in the Black Sea.”

“Organized countermeasures prevented 8 Kh-31P and Kh-59 guided air missiles from achieving their targets,” it continues. It is important to note that the Ukrainian military lacks the tools to destroy the Kh-22, Kh-47 “Kinzhal,” and S-300.

Just yesterday, the UN Secretary General visited Ukraine

We will remind you, right during the first visit, on April 28, a rocket attack was made on residential buildings in Kyiv.

“Rocket strikes in the center of the capital during the official visit of the UN Secretary-General. The day before yesterday, Antonio Guterres was sitting at a long table in the Kremlin, and today explosions were heard a kilometer from him. A postcard from Moscow? Remind me why Russia still holds a seat in the UN Security Council?”

Mykhailo Podolyak, the adviser to the head of the president’s office, commented on the situation that day.

Yesterday, during his third visit to the nation in less than a year, 8 March, UN Secretary-General António Guterres emphasized the UN’s unwavering support for Ukraine during a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.

“The UN’s stance is unequivocal: Russia’s invasion of Ukraine violates international law and the UN charter, as I have often stated. The internationally recognized borders of Ukraine must be respected, and its sovereignty, independence, unity, and territorial integrity, “Guterres added.

The head of the UN was in the capital of Ukraine to talk about the Black Sea grain agreement, which lets shipments leave the nation, allows Russia to export food and fertilizer, and keeps food flowing to underdeveloped countries.
