German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said that Berlin will not support a ceasefire that would lead to Ukraine’s surrender, according to ntv.
The Bundestag included Ukraine in its questions to the government. Left Party MP Gesine Lotsch asked the chancellor about the possibility of a ceasefire, prompting him to criticize Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s “peace proposal.”
