France provided Ukraine with equipment for war crimes investigation

France has provided Ukrainian prosecutors with the necessary equipment to investigate Russian war crimes.

It was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. The equipment will help prosecutors and experts document the consequences of Russian missile attacks on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.

The invading Russian troops have already destroyed and damaged over 110,000 civilian facilities.

France has previously provided two mobile DNA laboratories to Ukraine and continues to support Ukrainian specialists. Paris also makes a significant contribution to the work of the International Criminal Court.

It is reported that three teams of French investigators and experts worked to investigate the alleged war crimes committed in the Ukrainian towns of Bucha, Irpin, and Izium during Russian occupation.

In addition, experts from France visited the cities of Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih to assist in conducting expertise and organising training sessions for Ukrainian prosecutors.
