The US President has threatened to impose “secondary tariffs” on Russian oil. He is furious that the Kremlin dictator “appears” to be disrupting ceasefire talks in Ukraine.

The day before, the American leader also said that he was frustrated with Putin for ignoring the truce proposal. He said that if the ceasefire agreement is not signed because of Moscow’s actions, the United States will impose new sanctions on all oil coming from Russia.

Trump threatens Russia with more sanctions

Trump clarified that anyone who buys oil from the sanctioned Russia will not be able to do business in the United States. He assured that there would be a 25-50% duty on all oil.

Donald Trump further stated that “we will impose these sanctions within a month if Moscow fails to reach a ceasefire agreement.”

It was also reported that the US president plans to talk to the Kremlin leader on the Russia-Ukraine war again.
