In Paris, Ukrainian and French activists held a protest against French companies operating in the Russian market despite Russia’s war aggression against Ukraine.
The protesters opposed the stance of such companies as Auchan, Bonduelle, Yves Rocher France and others, which are still present in the Russian market.
The event was organized by the Union of Ukrainians in France, known for its multiple rallies and marches in support of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine in France expressed their gratitude to the members of the Paris Council (Geneviève Garrigos, François Béchieau, Philippe Nadji Bouriachi) and various organizations that came to support the demonstrators, as Volodymyr Kohutiak posted on Facebook.
“Demonstration 🇺🇦🇪🇺 yesterday, against the presence of French companies (Auchan, Bonduelle, Yves Rocher France …). Thank you to the elected officials 🇫🇷🇪🇺 (Geneviève Garrigos, François Béchieau, Philippe Nadji Bouriachi) and to the associations (Aide et Support, Kalyna) who came to support us! The fight continues!”
The Vice President of the Association of Ukrainians in France Volodymyr Kohutiak
“Let’s strengthen our logistical and military aid to #Ukraine to push back #Putin’s #Russia! Let’s boycott French companies still present in Russia! #StopPutinNOW #StopRussianAggression #StandWithUkraine.”
